Did you know that the name “Lorien” is the short version of “Lothlorien” which is a beautiful Elven forest in J. R. R. Tolkien’s Lord of The Rings?

Yes we own them, I know!! We named her after the elven forest ( my mom and I are both huge tolkien fans) 😉

All of our horses are quarter horses, so is the sire.

The’re so beautiful! I love horses. I guess that makes three of us. Coincidentally, I also love archery and the Lord of the Rings. The RPC does have a lot of like-minded people on it! Is Cash your horse, Mary?

Hello Ashley, yes Cash was my horse but sadly I recently had to part with him. He is fine, but due to some problems and we had to sell him, which broke my heart. I now have a 3 year-old quarter horse named Indie.
I love how many like-minded people do this curriculum. I will definitely check out your blog!

That’s so sad! I’m sorry. I’ve never had a horse (I really, really want one!), but I can imagine how it feels. What does Indie look like? Is he also chestnut? I personally like white and bay horses a lot, especially deep bays.

Indie is a palomino, I hope to add pictures of him soon. I agree with you bay horses are beautiful. White horses aren’t my favorite, but I think all horses are gorgeous. 😉
